Groms Taking Over Surf Swell

 

The  surf world is being  taken over by several  big name companies  that are offering monetary  sponsorships to young surfers that are willing to risk it all in the name of the gaining future fame. These young surfers, admirable for their ambition, are highly unpopular because they cause nothing but problems for veteran surfers and potential academic for  themselves.
When these young surfers, known as “groms,” agree to the terms & conditions of a sponsorship, they become ineligible for any college scholarship of any type.
